Support Lewis College of Human Sciences!
Established in 2013, Lewis College of Human Sciences is home to the Departments of Humanities, Psychology, and Social Sciences. The disciplines in Lewis College have always been at the heart of Illinois Tech, providing context, insight, and breadth of understanding in an academic environment driven by innovation and discovery.
Why should you support Lewis College?
We pursue innovative, meaningful research.
Our faculty and students are exploring what is happening as technology reshapes the real and virtual places where we live, work, and play. With ongoing projects related to stigma and mental illness; technology and wellness; science and technology policy; and gaming and language development (just to name a few!), we are working hard to find solutions for the real-world problems that affect our everyday lives.
We reach the entire Illinois Tech campus.
All undergraduates take classes in Lewis College, regardless of their major, providing them with the opportunity to explore a range of fields in the humanities and human sciences. We are dedicated to ensuring that all Illinois Tech students graduate with the skills to think critically and communicate effectively, which will serve them well into the future.
We are leaders.
Lewis College students hold leadership positions around campus in student government, student organizations, and athletics, and are often recognized for their hard work and dedication with university-wide student awards. As home to the Center for Leadership Studies and the M.A. and Lila Self Leadership Academy, Lewis College fosters a culture of leadership and plays a unique role in developing future leaders at Illinois Tech.
Lewis College of Human Sciences may be Illinois Tech’s newest college, but we already have made a tremendous impact on the Illinois Tech community. To continue growing and furthering our mission, please make your gift to Lewis College on Giving Day!
